We would not be able to run our various ministries without our volunteers and we are eternally grateful for their time and commitment.
Church facility hire
Dear church family,
We are needing someone to volunteer to manage the LBC Church hiring of facilities going forward.
This would include the main church and the new Pavilion.
In the last year it has been mostly the Pavilion has been hired, A Pilates group has used it most weeks over the year, has a regular booking and is self-managing the space. Mostly bookings are for birthday parties and celebrations and occasional outside group meetings. However, we want all our facilities to be as useful as they can be for our community.
To date it has mainly been responding to Enquiries, but it could be someone who has a vision for how this space could be used for so much more.
As it currently stands the role would cover things like;
Communicaton

Responding to emails enquiring about hire

Providing details on the hire to enquiries

Providing H&S details to hirer

Advising any other people onsite that day about booking

Advising finance of hire to expect payment and bond

Follow up post hire re thankyou and bond refund
Logistics

Recording hire details on spreadsheet

Recording hire on details booking calendar

Opening of Pavilion

Closing of Pavilion
(Mark, Peter, Kalah, James, David, Chris)
Sound Desk
We need extra volunteers to assist on the sound desk during our Sunday morning services. No prior experience needed, as someone will assist you until you feel comfortable to handle it on your own.
